Macy's released a sneak peek of its Black Friday ad on October 24 (earlier than it did in 2017 by one day). The store released the 16-page ad so customers can now look for holiday sales. Macy's Black Friday Early Access begins on November 7 and runs through the main event, Black Friday week, which starts on November 20.

When Is Macy's Black Friday Sale in 2022?

Just like in 2021, Macy's will extend its annual Black Friday sale for an entire month in 2022, from November 7 through the 26th. Customers can take advantage of weekly specials before fresh ones are released.

Macy's announced its Black Friday hours and plans for 2021 on October 25. The store's Black Friday sale ran from November 23 through November 27, with new deals weekly.

Macy's Black Friday dates for 2022 are as follows:

The first wave of Macy's Black Friday sales is available in stores and online from November 7 through the 13th.
The second wave of new sale items will be available in stores and online from November 14 through November 19.
From November 20 through November 26, the third and final Macy's Black Friday sale will be available.

Not surprisingly, Macy's has announced that it will be closed on Thanksgiving Day (November 25) but will reopen at 6 a.m. on November 26 and remain open until 11:59 p.m. on Black Friday. Check with your local Macy's to confirm the exact hours of operation for the Macy's Black Friday Early Access Sale, which are likely to be extended.
