I've spent more time than I anticipated researching flooring options for various rooms, and vinyl plank flooring continues to appeal to me. Because it looks good, manages everyday life, and requires little upkeep, it has become the preferred option for homeowners and renovators. Flooret continued to stand out after trying samples from various brands. I eventually ordered a stack of samples and tried them in a few locations after seeing their Modin collection in nearly every recommendation I came across. At that moment, everything made sense.
This was the most notable in terms of long-term value, durability, and style.

Flooret’s range carries more options than I expected. There are deeper browns like Raeburn and Madeira, slightly moodier tones like Brenwick and Kingswood, softer neutrals like Soho, and warm golden hues like Nakan. Instead of looking at a simple flooring lineup, it was more like perusing a carefully chosen lookbook. Each tone has a distinct personality. Some have a rustic vibe, some are minimalist, and some have a clean, contemporary look that complements practically any type of home.
The plank sizes help shape the look too. The Base line's 6-by-48-inch dimensions are suitable for small and medium-sized spaces. It keeps the layout balanced without drawing too much attention. The style changes at the Signature line. The 9inch by 72inch planks instantly change the room. They give everything a serene, seamless feel and visually expand the area. Those wide planks make a big difference if you like airy, open spaces.
What convinced me most was the realism. The textures feel natural. They are not glossy, excessively patterned, or clearly printed. When I placed samples like Elmstead, Catura, or Sutton next to wood furniture, they blended in without looking fake or too busy. The designs have enough movement to look realistic, but they still feel clean and intentional.

Flooret concentrates heavily on wear layers, which play a big role in how long vinyl lasts. The Signature line has a 40 mil wear layer, whereas the Base line has a 20 mil. Although I don't have an obsession with numbers, I am interested in their meaning. The floor can withstand dents, scuffs, and scratches for a longer period of time with a thicker wear layer.
The waterproof construction is another big plus. I tested the samples in a bathroom after a long shower and none of them curled or warped. They are superior to softer or cheap vinyl planks just based on that.
Waterproof flooring becomes your safety net if you have children, pets, or a busy kitchen.
Scratch resistance held up well too. Some vinyl claims to be tough but still shows marks from chair legs or toys. Flooret felt noticeably stronger. Compared to many mid-range floors I have seen in stores, even the Base line appeared to be more durable.
The long warranties also gave me confidence. Strong warranties are typically reserved by companies for products that have undergone testing beyond typical home use. It made the flooring feel like something I could count on long term rather than something I would need to replace in a few years.

The clear pricing was one feature I valued. Base planks come under a specific price range, while the Signature planks come under a clearly defined price range. There is no confusing jump in cost based on color. Everything is the same. When you are budgeting a home project, this kind of transparency makes planning a lot easier.
Vinyl also saves time and money once it is installed. It doesn't require special cleaners, refinishing, or waxing. It looks good with a straightforward routine. If you have lived with hardwood before, you already know how much maintenance it asks for over time. Vinyl gives you the look without all the rules.
The sample program ended up being one of my favorite parts. You can order multiple shades, place them under your lighting, and watch how they change throughout the day. This helped me avoid a few colors I thought I liked online but did not work with my walls. Samples also show you the texture and weight of the planks, which really helps when you are deciding between the Base and Signature lines.
