How To Style Big Black Booties

As a blogger, I try to impress upon my readers the significance of selecting items that can be worn in at least three distinct ways, and finding a shoe that can accommodate a variety of occasions and climates is essential throughout the year. Nobody wants a pair of shoes or an article of clothing that, due to its limited versatility, will end up gathering dust in the back of the closet.

Your wardrobe for the fall and winter seasons cannot be complete without the classic black bootie. If you're looking for a pair of big black booties, Steve Madden is a store you absolutely must stop by.

The pair by Steve Madden that has an oval toe and a stacked block heel is the pair that I consider to be my personal favorite.

This basic bootie can be styled in a number of different ways, and as a result, you should give some thought to making an investment in a high-quality pair because you will be wearing them quite frequently.

How to Look Nice in Big Black Booties

There are numerous ways to wear a pair of big black booties; I've included three of my favorites here.

1. Black skinny jeans or dark wash jeans are the most traditional and convenient bottoms to wear with black booties. If you're not already tall, you can make your legs look longer and leaner by matching the wash of your jeans to the color of your black booties.

If your jeans have a slimmer leg or are straight-cut, they should fit over the bootie. The jean leg can either be tucked into the bootie slightly (it should NEVER bunch up, if it does this they need to be hemmed) or the jeans can be cuffed slightly.

2. Black booties are great with dark wash jeans, but they can also look fantastic with a warm and fuzzy winter dress. A dip-down effect, as opposed to a straight across your ankle/leg cut, is the most important thing to look for when selecting a versatile pair of black booties.

Pairing these booties with a dress will create a more figure-flattering silhouette, whether you choose to go bare-legged or wear black opaque tights. A straight across-cut bootie may work for someone very tall and with very long legs, but the dip down is preferable for me and many other femmes. Finally, you should coordinate the dress's casualness with the booties. Wear a sleek, dressy bootie with your fancier dresses.

3. Boot-cut jeans in black or a dark wash are a wardrobe staple and look great with a pair of black booties.

You should never wear flats with your new bootcut jeans; a heel of some kind is required. Under jeans, a black bootie is at its most adaptable when its toe is oval or pointed. Denim should be hemmed to fit over your black booties, and a good rule of thumb is to cut off a thumb's width from the bottom.
