Tempur-Pedic Mattress Review 2023: Is It Worth-Buying?

TEMPUR-Pedic produces some of the most luxurious memory foam mattresses on the market. With the introduction of memory foam mattresses, the company revolutionized the market more than two decades ago. The foam was initially designed by NASA to be used in airplane seats and didn't make its way to consumers until 1992 when the TEMPUR-Pedic brand introduced it to the market.

Most Popular Tempur-Pedic Mattresses

Here's a list of the most popular Tempur-Pedic mattresses from each collection that you should consider purchasing.

Tempur-Adapt Collection

Adapt Mattress

This model is the least expensive one in the Tempur-Adapt line. It has less advanced foam than the other models. There's only one firmness level to choose from (medium), and it's made with a base and two layers of foam: a softer layer on top for comfort and a firmer layer on the bottom for support. The hybrid version has these three layers and coils inside to give the edges more support and make it easier to move around.

ProAdapt Mattress

This model's construction uses three layers of foam, with the base being the thickest. The soft top layer is complemented by a support layer that offers 20% more pressure relief than the basic Adapt model. There are three different levels of firmness, plus a hybrid model with spring coils for a medium feel and some bounce.

LuxeAdapt Mattress

This model is the most expensive in the Tempur-Adapt line because it contains the most foam. The structure is only three levels deep, but each specialised layer is now deeper. The comfort foam used in the extra soft ProAdapt mattress is nearly double that of the soft bed, while the support foam is thinner. The firm option has a thicker layer of support foam underneath the comfort foam, which the manufacturer claims relieves pressure 40% more effective than regular foam.

Tempur-Cloud Collection

The Cloud is the most reasonably priced Tempur-Pedic mattress, despite being constructed from the same high-quality foams as the company's more expensive models. It's still made out of the same special foams; it's just 10 inches tall instead of 12 and has a lower profile. While the hybrid model has an extra layer of over 1,000 spring coils for edge support and bounce, the medium model has a foam base and two specialized layers (one for help and one for cushion and comfort).

Tempur-Breeze Collection

Compared to standard Tempur-Pedic models, this one is intended to keep you cool 3 degrees thanks to its base layer and two cooling layers of foam. The top layer dissipates heat, while the bottom layer provides ventilation. It has a cool-to-the-touch cover that will help maintain a healthy body temperature when lying down. A comparable alternative is a hybrid system. The over a thousand spring coils beneath the cooling foams offer extra support and make for simpler movement.

LuxeBreeze Mattress

The LuxeBreeze, the most expensive Tempur-Pedic mattress, has a base layer of foam and three cooling foam layers to keep you up to 8° cooler. A layer of foam absorbs heat, one provides airflow, and a layer specific to this mattress has small holes for ventilation. Cool mattress covers add comfort.

Are Tempur-Pedic Mattresses Worth It?
